Faith in Nature review

Originally posted on Charm of Love:
Evening everyone, Well I did not miss waking up at 6am to go to work. It doesn’t help that the sun doesn’t rise until after 7 and I feel like the walking dead as I finish this post this morning. I know I’ve had some time off but I am still annoyed that I’m working on the weekend, oh well. Today I am reviewing a few Faith in Nature products. Faith in Nature are certified, both by the Vegan Society and by Cruelty Free International. They make natural, affordable products and believe in benefiting the planet. Not all their products are vegan but the majority are, they don’t use GMOs, synthetic colours or fragrances. Their products are free from SLES, SLS, parabens and artificial preservatives. I received all the following products as a gift and it’s taken me ages to get round to using everything I received for my birthday. The first thing I used was the lavender and geranium shower gel and foam bath. I love these scents…

Spectrum Brushes Review

Originally posted on DCITR:
Recently I was given the opportunity to try out ‘Spectrum’ brushes and of course I jumped at the chance because WHY WOULDN’T I WANT PINK BRUSHES IN MY LIFE!? If you haven’t seen this brand floating around Instagram then, quite frankly, you’re missing out because every time I see a pic of these adorable mermaid-inspired brushes I die a little inside. The brand are PETA registered, vegan trademarked and cruelty free (YAAS) and claim to be the leading brand in trend lead makeup brushes with professional performance. They have also been used by the stars of TOWIE, Geordie Shore, MIC and many more. I was very kindly sent the ‘8 Piece Eye Blending Set’ which retails for £29.99 and can be purchased HERE. I unboxed the brushes on camera in an unboxing video over on my YouTube channel so if you wanna see my overly-excited initial reaction to the cuteness click HERE. I definitely said ‘cool’ WAY too many times in that video so here I plan to share my thoughts in a little more…

Un-Know

I don’t know about you, but sometimes, I wish I could “un-know” things. You know what I mean? Like, I wish I didn’t know some of the things I do. I wish I could un-learn them. Un-see them. Like Justin Timberlake with cornrows. Or the girl from the movie, The Ring. That disturbing image will forever be seared into my brain. And, this is coming from the girl who was terrified of scary movies, and would “watch” those flicks from behind a pillow when my friends would insist on watching them. Or if you walk in on your parents “doing it.” Not that that’s ever happened to me. But so I’ve heard. I did walk in on my friend’s dad pooping….that was pretty scarring. Never went over to that house again, that’s for dang sure. But all jokes aside, there are things that I just wish I didn’t have knowledge about. I witnessed the little 7-year-old girl I nanny for “learn” one of those things today. We’ll call her Cindy. I was with Cindy and her friend,…

LUSH Haul.

Originally posted on driftinglexi:
If you were watching my Snapchat (driftinglexi) earlier this afternoon you will have seen that I took a trip to LUSH after work and picked up a load of products. This is definitely the most I have personally bought in one shopping trip to LUSH, but it is by no means that large compared to other LUSH hauls I have seen. First off I will say that there won’t be many photos of the actually products within the packaging in this post. I like to keep my bath bombs and bubble bars in their bags until I get around to using them as it just keeps them together and protected, plus I like them having the labels on them, despite the fact that I do know what they all are, haha. Secondly, all of these products are new to me. There isn’t a single product in this haul that I have used before, therefore making it even more exciting. While there will not be loads of images in this post, if you add me on Snapchat…

Ever since we started our blog we’ve been wanting to try new products. Prior to blogging we rarely wore lip products, now over a year into having our blog , we have a new found love for liquid lipsticks in particular! If you read our blog regularly you’ll know that we love the brand MUA and have done a few haul posts in the past. We saw that they had a range of matte liquid lipsticks and as we’re huge fans of a matte lip, we thought we’d try them out! From Left to Right : Passion/Dash/Harmony There are a range of colours in the Velvet Lip Lacquer collection starting from nudes and bold pinks all the way down to the deepest purple and even black! The velvet lip lacquers are a highly pigmented matte gloss, which dry really quickly once applied. As we were unsure if we were going to like the product we only picked up 3 at first. However, since these photos were taken we’ve added a few more…

Two days until my birthday ! February 11th and I will be 17…. ok 20…. Fine fine, stop pulling my leg. I will be 24. Scary to think of honestly. Like everyone else I was offered between Fresh items or Marc Jacobs, and since I love Marc Jacobs lipstick I picked that one! I was lucky though, ABH lipsticks have been added to Sephora Canada (FINALLY I GET TO TRY THEM YESSS) and they had a great offer of Nars lipstick and perfume samples I took advantage of. Before I give it all away here are the items I decided to pick up. **All Swatches are at the bottom of the post** Vita Liberata Tanning Mitt I grabbed this because I won a self tanner a while back but was terrified of using it without a mit. I have only used spray ones so I am excited I can finally try it out, and tell you all how it is! Sephora’s Birthday Choice- Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc…

Drugstore Brands I want to try more from!

Originally posted on LucieLeannexo:
Since starting my blog I have got much better at venturing into new brands, but I feel as though there are still many brands I want to explore more. I’ve seen a few of these posts recently so I thought I would give you my own spin on it, starting with the drugstore brands I want to try more from. Revlon -?Revlon is a brand I have always been aware of but for some reason I have barely tried any of their products, except from this gorgeous pink lipstick I received in a Glossybox. They have just released a whole range of new mascaras which I would love to try, and I would also like to try their Color Stay foundation. NYX -?When Valentina & I did our beauty swap, she kindly sent me some Nyx products. I have fallen in love with the butter gloss in Tiramisu, and I literally want to try every shade. Their HD concealer has also caught my attention and also their primers. H&M Beauty -?I…

Hair Care Routine with Klorane Shampoos

Originally posted on HELLO LESYA:
English | Українська Hi, guys! Today I’m sharing a little review on two shampoos by Klorane. These shampoos can make hair care routine more pleasant and effective. I washed my hair with them too and hadn’t find any disadvantages, except of one – they contain sulfates. The first one is anti-dandruff shampoo with myrtle extract. It has a strong a bit ‘’chemical’’ smell (I can’t describe it as herbal or natural) and light green color. It is perfect for oily hair, because it removes dandruff, calms sculp irritations and absorbs skin oil. After using shampoo with myrtle my husband liked the result. His hair becomes very shiny and light. This shampoo makes big foam and you don’t need wash your hair twice. My husband uses it once a week to refresh his hair, make it look healthier and to keep his oily hair under control. The second shampoo with oat milk by Klorane is made for whole family and for all hair types. This shampoo reminds me liquid body lotion and…

Envicase: A New Social Media for Fashion and Beauty

Originally posted on Written in the Cosmets:
Hey lovlies, I don’t usually do posts on apps but this past weekend I have fallen in love with this one called Envicase. Currently it is only available for iphones but it will be released to android in the future. What is it? It is a new mobile application in which users connect with each other through the items they own, sharing stories, providing useful shopping tips, and “envying” one another. I know the word envy makes it seem kind of snobbish but let me tell you it is not! It’s a great tool for discovering new items. You post a picture, say where you bought it and the price! I am in love but I don’t think my wallet will be in a few months haha Check it out and add me, inthecosmets ! Thanks for reading — xxoo Corinne Facebook Instagram Twitter Tsu ?
