A Trace of Teal

Originally posted on The Flower That Blooms:
This is something that you’ll rarely see; us two in colour. But we’ve tried so many different things fashion wise this year already, maybe it’s the start of a new thing? We’re gradually adding a splash of colour to our almost all black wardrobes, hey, you should be proud of us guys! We’re loving the colour teal at the moment. There’s something quite majestic about it, when we think of the colour, the word ‘mermaids’ are instantly brought to our minds! Who doesn’t want to feel like a mermaid? Rachel:  Jacket- Forever 21 Top- Young Guns merch Skirt- Urban Outfitters Boots- Dr Martens Skirts have been some of my favourite items of clothing to buy recently, so when I found this teal A-Line skirt in the Urban Outfitters sale, I didn’t hesitate to order it. I like to make excuses a lot of the time, this occasion being “hey, it will go perfectly with my new docs, so I need it”. I love how it has the buttons at…

Boohoo Fashion Resolutions

Originally posted on The Flower That Blooms:
At the beginning of January we were contacted by Boohoo and asked if we would like to collaborate on a resolutions post. Every year the majority of people make resolutions they can’t keep, so Boohoo decided to give bloggers the chance to make a resolution they’d hopefully stick to! They kindly gifted us an item each that we wouldn’t normally go for but wanted to try and style. So here are the pieces we chose, let’s hope we can stick to this resolution! Rachel: Lara High Rise Skinny Jeans I’ve always been a fan of patterned trousers but I’ve never been brave enough to buy myself a pair. This was the perfect opportunity to get myself some and try something new, finally! I love the red and black check design, they’re also high waisted which is something I like my trousers to be. I’d say the material makes them feel more like thin trousers than jeans but regardless of this I love them! I styled the trousers with a black cropped…

My poor nose was sore to touch and my cheeks were red and irritated as well from the product. When…

How I afford to travel

Originally posted on Sitting Pretty In The Queen City:
I get asked a lot how I afford to travel so I wanted to share with you how I’m able to go on all these trips! Sorry to disappoint but I don’t have a sugar daddy financing these excursions and my parents are not paying my way : ) The biggest thing  I do is go on a financial diet when I’m home. I don’t have a large disposable income but I joined mint.com years ago for free and it keeps track of my spending and I can see where my weaknesses are in my budget (for instance eating out for me was adding up to be a lot so I joke about how I eat ramen noodles to afford travel.) I’ve been learning to cook more and it’s definitely saved some money. I also realized I’d be happy sacrificing a few things to set aside travel money. I only get my hair done maybe 2 or 3 times a year now and pay to get…

#LetsGetFisico x Memory Lane

Originally posted on letsgetfisico:
#LetGetFisico is still traveling around Northern California! Today, I got a chance to shoot at my uncle’s apartment complex, where my family and I used to visit during holidays 12 years ago. I took pictures here because not only is it a nice environment but it also has a lot of memories and meaning to it. My brothers and I loved it here because to us it was HUGE. There was also a pool which was perfect to swim in almost every day of the year (gotta love California weather). This place was also special because it was a 7 hour drive from where we lived. Driving up was always an adventure and an escape from familiarity. Going back made me feel like a kid again; a long walk down memory lane. – My Details – Shirt – J.Crew Pants – Gap Watch – Da Vinci – Gents Timepieces Bracelet – Hitch (Ghost White) – ACoolMan Shoes – Sperry — Gents Timepieces Website – Instagram – Facebook – Twitter ACoolMan Website – Instagram – Facebook – Twitter — UP NEXT: PALO ALTO, CA – STANFORD.
