The Pertinents 117 N Main St A, Brighton, CO 80601, USA Founded in 2012 The Space It’s a big bar with a lot of space, and it feels very modern for the quaintness of downtown Brighton. I liked the ‘porch’ on the front of the place, so that you could sit outside and enjoy the amazing skies Eastern Colorado offers. They have long opening hours and a breathalyzer in the back, just in case. It’s clear that they’ve done a great job bringing in a slightly different crowd from your average hipstery brewpub, and that they work in the community to foster ties as Brighton grows and changes. Every night of the week has a different theme, from flip night to Cards Against Humanity. The Beer Overall, good. Not awesome, but good. They have created a line of tea-infused beer that is interesting and fresh-tasting, and vanilla seems to play a big role (at least in the beers we tried).
