I’m leaving my job. That’s right folks; after over a year and a half of working full time in my kooky little call center, I am leaving to travel and follow my dreams of being paid to write. It’s exciting, it’s terrifying and there is a very real chance I will end up extremely poor and never be able to move out of my parents flat. It’s even more of a daunting prospect because this is the only thing I have done since graduating. I literally left university on the last day of June two years ago and started working here on the first day of July. Dull-vergent returns. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice . . . Well, shame on me again, I guess. Beatrice Prior (Shailene Woodley) must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side. Well, it killed the time. But would I watch it again? Would I recommend it? Ah, no. I haven’t read the Divergent books (and I’m certainly not going to after this) BUT I actually liked the first feature film adaptation. It was racy, engaging if a little predictable. BUT as I said back then, if there was going to be a sequel, they would need to take it up a notch. It was watchable enough but if anything, Insurgent took the wind out of Divergent’s sails. It was slow, overlong and cliched as hell. It only really got going in the last twenty minutes. Not good enough. It doesn’t help that the silver screen has been flooded with endless teen bestseller adaptations…

Throne of Glass is being optioned for TV!

Hello guys! Let me warn you that this may not be the kind of post you’re expecting so, put your rant goggles on and join me on this! Yesterday, the author of the Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas, shared on Twitter that her books are being optioned for TV. For those who may not be familiar with the term, it means that the series had their copyrights bought and is being studied, by a studio and a production company, to comprehend if it is adaptable or not. So, that means that ToG’s copyrights for TV no longer are possessed by the author and it’s not certain if it’s going to be really on tv but they’re thinking about it. Ok, now let’s concentrate on that last part. Its not certain! Besides this piece of information, the whole fandom has gone berserk. Between discussions on whether it should be a tv show or a movie, casting options and even how it’s going to suck (thought they’ve seen nothing to justify that),…
