A Little Love

Ten days ago my love and I celebrated six years of dating. On this day, we travelled to Reach Falls in Portland. It was a long journey but the beauty of this island was not lost on me. The rain was pouring when we arrived but we managed to have an enjoyable time regardless. I love road trips so that in itself was just great! It’s been six years of dating at long distance and I can’t help but wonder when that will end. There is no foreseeable end but at least we have decided to take certain moves towards that. I’m on the hunt for a job in his area and he in mine. I am so looking forward to a breakthrough because I would like to move past us only having a visiting relationship. I think one of the challenge is that we have not been intentional about it. It’s like we’re just waiting and if it happens, it happens. Or maybe it’s contentment, we’re just both so happy with…

Traveluxblog | Moritz & Sabrina

We’re both students and “suffer” from chronic wanderlust. Thus, we travel passionately as often as we can – mostly on weekends, but also during university vacations. We change hotels in each city every night so that we can see and experience as much as possible. We are more the adventurous type, so real beach vacations are pretty much nonexistent. But not adventurous enough to relinquish Wi-Fi during our travels, as we want to share our impressions of hotels or cities as fast as we can on our blog! While we do not prefer just metropolises or just small villages, but a good mix of everything, we usually stay at five star properties.

I might never get married. Who knows?! – 20th April 1998

Monday 20thP. [Period.] It’s scary how fast time seems to be going at the moment. It hardly seems any time at all since I first started school in Year 7 and now I’m in Year 10 and more than half way through. It seems ages away until my major GCSE exams but everything is going so quickly. Back at school today. Back to normal. Normal shouldn’t be being at school but term time is the way it is more than anything else and it’s the routine I’ve got used to. I’d rather we had more holidays, even with the boring bits. That’s one advantage about school – I never seem to get bored. I mean, I don’t like some of the lessons much but I’m always doing something. Then at lunch and break I can catch up on all the gossip or watch Ralph and co playing sad little ball games on the tennis courts. I suppose if we didn’t have school then I would never have known…

recovering from an ED || a beautiful journey of various volumes

Coffee; my ride or die.

Today I was informed that my relationship with my barista is a lot more serious than most relationships you see all over Facebook. Im not sure whether I should be happy I get the best of both worlds; a single girl with serious commitment to a man who listens to me. Or depressed that my ride or die relationship is with the guy who makes my coffee and talks me out of ‘just one more croissant’ every day.
