Disneyland! Paris!

HilaryStyle I love Disneyland! I really do and I’m not embarrassed to admit it! There’s a reason they call it the Happiest Place On Earth! Lucky for me, we’ve often (okay too many times to count) had the good fortune to visit the parks in Southern California as well as a one time visit to Walt Disney World, but I’d always wondered what it would be like to visit an international Disney park. A few years ago during a trip to Paris my wish came true! Not only did we get to visit Disneyland Paris, but it happened to be the Park’s 20th anniversary while we were there, so that was an added bonus! Getting There: Disneyland Paris is located about 20 milesfromParis and is easily accessible from the city by train, car, shuttle bus and express train. All of these options are listed on the Disneyland Paris website. View original post 335 more words

Things that make me happy Part 3 | Disney

I’ve been really struggling for ideas for lifestyle posts recently, but whilst watching some Disney World vlogs I had a sudden realisation I hadn’t posted about Disney at all really on my blog yet! I’m sure this is the same for most of you, but for me Disney really just symbolises my childhood and family memories in a nutshell. My brother and I were very lucky as my parents always took us to the cinema to watch the Disney films. They also took us on a few family holidays to Disney World in Florida, and Disneyland Paris – of which I have very fond memories. My brother and me, in Disney World back in good old days! In general Disney is one of those things that when I’m feeling sad or fed up, watching a Disney movie will always cheer me up. There’s nothing better than snuggling up to watch a Disney film in my onesie with a hot chocolate. I love the Disney classics but I’ve also learned to love…

A Time to Reflect

I know in my previous post I wrote about my reading and writing slump. That currently hasn’t changed much. See I was starting to feel like I could break it, and then Friday night happened. The attacks in Paris, shocked me deeply. Now, I realize this kind of stuff happens in other parts of the world, I pay attention, I am not clueless, but does humanity really need to have a Misery contest along with everything else? One tragedy does not trump another. Stop being clueless and asinine. I cannot, and will not speak for others, I will write here what I have been feeling the past few days. You do not have to agree, or even understand, I just finally felt the need to write something, and it needed to be more than just a book review or a book post. The reason why the Paris attack hit a little closer to home for me, was not because I live in Europe and a train ride away…

Life Lately.

Hi, friends! It’s been a bit since I’ve shared my heart and mind in this little space. I want to take some time to share about some personal things that have been going on in life lately. Some great things, some not so great things, learning a ton through all of it. As I had mentioned earlier on the blog, I spent a month traveling Europe with my two best friends, Hannah and Kristie. We traveled to Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and through Italy. It was the trip of a lifetime, to say the least. Every moment was filled with beauty, valuable life lessons, adventure, and friendship. There’s not a day that passes that I don’t wish I could wake up next to my two best girl friends, grab a cappuccino + croissant from the bakery across the street, and end the day with tired feet and full stomachs. I’m so excited to show you guys all the photos we took in each city. I hope they leave you inspired and itching for your own…
