Face to Face with New Challenges

From time to time, life throws you unexpected surprises and there could only be two reactions: either you cringe /whine /lament on the situation or you relish the challenge the change is going to bring. I often find myself throw at the steep curveball of new challenges where I need to adapt quickly or drown in the situation. Wallowing in misery is never an option because I find it is a waste of time to wallow in something that couldn’t be changed. However, in your hands, you might be able to veer the situation into a balance of win-win. To do that, first of all, keep your attitude in check. Facing a new challenge head on is tough enough but to burden yourself with negativity will make the task impossible. So charge towards the challenge beaming with sunshine and positivity, you may still have difficulty facing the challenge but you’ll feel so much better than letting yourself down with negativity. Hands up and ask for support for things get too tough…

We did it!! (Well, Kyle did it). As many of you know from my previous posts, my boyfriend Kyle has been struggling to get into University because his Dyslexia and Autism have stopped him getting a C in his English exam. Despite this, he managed to get 3 A grades in his Forensic Science course, and he got a B in Maths, and this has meant that finally he’s been excepted into University!! I’m beyond proud of him 🙂 Sorry this is such a short post, but I just had to share this with you all! He’s been through so much and finally people are realising how awesome he truly is 🙂 Thanks for reading!

Bop it! taught the importance of paying attention. It even demonstrated how things in life can go by quickly, and you may lose an opportunity to “win” if you don’t pay attention.  Monopoly taught one of the many ways the rich get rich (and how to alienate friends). Then there’s dodgeball. I think you see where I’m going with this. If not, sit back, relax, and read. The game of dodgeball is like opportunities. There are three lessons to take away from dodgeball: 1. The opposition OR life obstacles In life we all encounter “haters,” people who try to get ahead by holding you back (or getting you out), or who just want to keep you down so they can stay in the game. These people (and life) with throw many obstacles your way. Then there are the people who are… 2. Your teammates OR your support system These are the people who are on your side. They want to see you succeed …
