Lounge Review: Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt (B44)

Originally posted on travelux:
Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt (B44) is one of several Lufthansa lounges at the airport. Due to its enormous size and its hub function for Lufthansa, Frankfurt Airport offers passengers a lounge close to pretty much all departure gates. When we had the pleasure to fly via Frankfurt, we decided to give the Lufthansa Business Frankfurt (B44) a try. Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt (B44) is located in the middle of several gates on the end of the Terminal B which is used for international departure to the US and other non-Schengen destinations. Be aware that there is another Lufthansa Business Lounge on the other side of the terminal (B24). The Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt (B44) is shaped like a circle which makes it quite comfortable for seating as the layout adds a lot of privacy. Sadly, Lufthansa Business Lounge Frankfurt (B44) comes without any good views, making it a little boring. Nevertheless, the lounge is bright and inviting. Lounge Review: SLOW Lounge Johannesburg

SLOW Lounge Johannesburg is one of two airport lounges of this kind in South Africa. The other is SLOW Lounge Cape Town which we already reviewed earlier. While we were not as impressed as we were in Cape Town, the SLOW Lounge Johannesburg is still a very decent lounge which is definitely worth planning some extra time for! Located in the domestic terminal, SLOW Lounge Johannesburg is available for all passengers flying Comair (British Airways) Business Class, holding an oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status or a premium credit card by FNC with a minimum spend. SLOW Lounge Johannesburg is located right next to the Comair gates Even though access is limited to few, the lounge did feel anything but empty when we arrived. Find more content about Johannesburg on our city page! Most comfortable seats had already been taken, but we still found one or anything empty seat to relax. Seating at SLOW Lounge Johannesburg SLOW Lounge Johannesburg has quite a nice layout with different seating arrangements in different parts of…

Lounge Review: BA Galleries Lounge South London Heathrow

Originally posted on travelux:
BA Galleries Lounge South London Heathrow is one of three lounges at the British Airways Terminal at London Heathrow. The BA Galleries Lounge in the south of the terminal offers a consistent experience with nice seating, a good buffet and selected entertainment options. Even though it is not as good as the BA Galleries First Lounge, it is still a very decent lounge. Everyone flying Business Class with British Airways or an oneworld carrier as well as all oneworld Sapphire members got the pleasure to enjoy either the BA Galleries Lounge South or the British Airways Galleries Lounge North at London Heathrow airport. You can enjoy a great view of the tarmac in the Galleries Lounge Depending on your gate of departure, either the one or the other is more suitable. Find more content about London on our city page! The BA Galleries Lounge South London Heathrow is actually located underneath the First Class Lounge, but still offers nice views of the tarmac and comfortable seating. Anyway, some parts of the…

Lounge Review: SLOW Lounge Cape Town

Originally posted on travelux:
SLOW Lounge Cape Town is definitely the best domestic lounge we ever have been to. That’s not only because we didn’t expect something “amazing”, but also because the quality of pretty much everything is amazing. At SLOW Lounge Cape Town, a large buffet, comfortable seating, toilets with a view and even complimentary massages are offered. The only downer is the slow Wi-Fi. SLOW Lounge Cape Town is located after security control close to all domestic gates at Cape Town International Airport. That means that you don’t have to walk for more than 10 minutes from the lounge to your gate regardless of where you are departing. SLOW Lounge Cape Town is very large with two decks Access to SLOW Lounge Cape Town is granted to everyone flying business class, holding a special FNB Credit Card or being an oneworld Emerald or Sapphire member regardless of the class you are flying. Seating at SLOW Lounge Cape Town SLOW Lounge Cape Town is a very modern lounge with plenty of seating spots available. There’s a…
