Fall Fashion Outfit Idea: over the knee boots & leather jacket

Here’s my Autumn outfit of the day. I was inspired by this lovely new sweater you can see underneath. Plus, you can never go wrong with a good black jacket. I think leather jackets especially, are one of those clothing items that will never go out of style. What I’m wearing: SCHUTZ over the knee boots MANGO bag ZARA  jacket GAS JEANS chunky sweater STUSSY dress FOSSIL eye glasses Unfortunately none of the items shown in the photos are available anymore. I usually buy my clothes on sale or in outlet stores (especially the more expensive items), but hopefully this outfit could serve as an inspiration for some of you. What are your favourite fashion items for Fall? Feel free to share your thoughts with me in the comment section bellow. 🙂

NYFW Recap #4 of 4 – Raquel Allegra SS16 Presentation

Originally posted on letsgetfisico:
The last show of the week that I was able to go to was the Raquel Allegra SS16 Presentation. This presentation was located at the Industria Superstudios again, but this time in a more spacious studio. Although it was Raquel Allegra‘s first NYFW show, she presented with the quality of a seasoned-designer. Her pieces for SS16 carried a vintage theme with splashes of tie-dye prints. Almost every outfit composed of deconstructed layers and fabrics of silk and linen. The models were circled around an original-designed mandala by Briana Sophia Young, which centered the studio, and the colors of the mandala blended perfectly with the SS16 line. The bright tie-dye hues made the room feel alive and added energy to the crowd. Of attendance was actress Marisa Tomei. I was able to snap a picture of her with the star of the show, designer Raquel Allegra. Below are some pictures of the presentation! Click an image to see images in a slideshow. That wraps up my NYFW recap series! I look forward to next year’s NYFW…

Back to Reality | Causal Outfits

So it’s that time of year again where the Summer holidays have ended and everyone returns to School/College/University. Yeah it sucks right?! We aren’t looking forward to going back in the next few weeks. Over the Summer we’ve been able to blog whenever we wanted to, now it’s back to reality and a routine. Early morning’s, a tonne of work and juggling 9 different things at once is going to be super stressful! Now that’s enough of the negativity. We wanted to use today’s post to show you what sort of outfit we are wearing on our first day back. Choosing what outfit to wear on the first day is always super stressful so we’ve tried to come up with an outfit that is both comfy and stylish! Lauren: I’ve never really been a fan of long tops. I worry that where I’m short they swamp me and give me no shape. However, in a recent shopping trip to H&M I found this lovely long sleeve. I feel…

Dirty Velvet // 100% Organic Cotton Clothing

Originally posted on ISOBEL FRANCES:
Recently I got in contact with a brand called ‘Dirty Velvet’ who very kindly offered to send me a couple of pieces from their new Autumn/Winter range! “Dirty Velvet is a design collective focused on producing high quality clothing with designs that offer a creatively different perspective to the mainstream. Our aim is to create T-shirts with original graphics, combining strong and thought provoking imagery reflecting our slightly twisted view of the world.” I was so intrigued by the designs on offer as I know they are very meaningful to the creators and I had fun looking through the online catalogue as they really are very unique and thought-provoking. A kind of fashion that is often hard to come across in the vast world of cheesy slogan tees. In the end I went for the ‘Road To Nowhere’ Tee and the ‘Busker Bear’ Sweatshirt, both of which can be interpreted in different ways but also look really awesome!  All clothing from Dirty Velvet is made with 100% organic cotton making them SO…

?? Hello! During today’s little afternoon shopping date, R and I went to the Banana Republic Factory store in Long Island and I purchased two items: sweater & t-shirt! I like to blog and put up pictures of clothes that I bought recently (in this case…today) so that if you’re interested in the deals, you can go out and get it, too! :)??? ?This sweater is soft and warm (too warm right now!!!). I got it to wear for work. It’s nice and casual and you’ll like the price, too! Btw: I am 5’7 and I purchased a size S for this sweater. It is still a bit loose and I like it that way! The original price was $59.99 and of course there’s a 40% off sale on this price…and then I got another 40% on top of the sale price, because RetailMeNot had a coupon for extra 40% off both regular and sale items at Banana Republic Factory stores which ends August 24th. It’s pretty…
