Since the change of season brings both wardrobe and beauty updates alike i will help you with some basic tips to get your make up bag up to date.  Swap your foundation shade Not many know this but your skin tone tends to change with the season. Either because your summer tan is fading or your complexion is changing due to weather changes. I usually have a winter and a summer shade. Have a color-match test done at a beauty counter to ensure that your foundation shade is up to date Go berry And by that i mean your lipstick. Retire from those barely there nudes and glossy lips, now is the time to be bold and berry. The most hottest colors are plum, burgundy, wine and deep red. (Photo by Kevin Winter/MTV1415/Getty Images For MTV) I’ve never watched MTV’s Video Music Awards from beginning to end.  The only reason I did last night was because BET-owned Viacom made the decision to run the VMAs on BET right after the season finale of “Sunday Best,” the gospel music show based on the “American Idol” model.  As far as the entertainment world is concerned, the VMAs last night made acutely aware  of just how ignorant I am of goings-on and the various beefs that existed in the pop world.  For example, I didn’t even know Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift had a beef.  And I didn’t even know Kim Kardashian was pregnant.  I figured she was since she looked like a female version of Cobblepot thanks to pregnancy weight however.  The pop glitz of the VMAs is nothing…
