It’s that time of the year where I find myself and my friends constantly talking about getting our “summer bods” and how we’re going to go to the gym and workout for five days straight or give up pizza and our other favorite foods – obviously all unrealistic goals. I have always been a little self conscious about my weight. I’ve never been considered overweight but I have always been a little thicker compared to my friends. I think that’s what my problem is, I’m always comparing my body to my friends’ bodies.
My freshman year of college I went away to school and gained the dreaded “freshman 15”. I didn’t notice or care too much because I had my boyfriend telling me I was still beautiful.
