My name is Simone, I am 27 years old and live in Perth, Australia. I have been inspired to create this blog due to the number of friends, funnamed (3)amily and colleagues who often ask for my advice or tips in regards to eating right, training hard and living positively and enthusiastically.

Although by day, I am a classroom teacher and sports co-ordinator at a primary school, I have a serious passion and slight addiction (some would say) for living a healthy and well balanced lifestyle. Until the beginning of the year I hadn’t studied anything other than my Bachelor of Education. However, this year I have been busy pursuing my passion for fitness, nutrition and wellbeing by studying and networking with professionals in the fitness field to broaden my knowledge.

For Christmas, my boyfriend (referred to as The American) bought me an online nutrition course with The Fitness Training Company and I am now proud to announce that I have completed my certificate in Nutrition and Weight Management. I offer my services in creating Custom Meal Plans suited to individuals needs based on calories, macros, energy expenditure and so much more. I have also completed my Wellness and Lifestyle Coaching certificate through Universal Class Inc. As of very recently, I have also enrolled to become a qualified Personal Training!

I am not claiming to be an expert or know-all. I cannot give you a magic recipe that will make you drop weight. I cannot reach through this screen, drag you off your butt to train either. I cannot make you be positive, enthusiastic or energetic. But in saying this, I have done a lot of reading through my online studies and of books that interest me with food theories and exercise tips which I can share with you. I can tell you what I eat, how I train and what works for me. I can give my own personal point of view of what may work for you or challenges you can try. I can do my best to motivate and inspire you to eat well, train hard and to live your life with energy and positivity.

Lifestyle, Food & Culture, Inspiration

I am dedicated to making healthy food choices and share my love of food through the pages “Food For Thought” and “Reviews & Recommendations.”

Food For Thought is the go-to page if you are searching for some home cooking inspiration. I upload my homemade creations and recipes that are mostly simple, satisfyingly delicious and always healthy! Feel free to recreate these at home. I do love eating out, especially breakfast, so I also provide links to cafes and restaurants in Reviews & Recommendations if I think they pass the healthy and delicious test!

Over the past year or so I have done a lot of growing, changing, learning and soul searching. I have created the life that I have always wanted and I am a firm believer in creating your own happiness. Yes, a lot of my happiness can be credited to the beautiful and inspiring people that I am surrounded by, but I try my hardest everyday to view all of life’s challenges and curve balls with positivity, optimism and enthusiasm.

I hope this website acts as a refreshing read that inspires you to think, act and become the best version of yourself.
