First Trailer for “The Jungle Book” Released

I was half way through writing another Disney Heroines post when I saw that the trailer for Disney’s live-action film The Jungle Book was finally released. Hold everything!

While this is hardly the first live-action adaptation of the famous story by Rudyard Kipling, it is the first remake of the children’s classic released by Disney in 1967. That animated feature is near and dear to my heart, as it was the first film I ever saw. In fact, Mowgli was the first character I cosplayed (aka: I ran around in my underwear, climbed over the backs of the sofas, and pretended that our family dog was a tiger)! Confession number two: I have a big black cat named Bagheera.

This latest reboot from Disney is directed by Jon Favreau, and hits theaters on the 16th of April, 2016. Watch the trailer below, and let us know what you think!
