A Sunny Place To Think | Soleil Porche

Hello there.

You may call me Soleil. I’m your averagely-poor college student attending university to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and a Minor in French. Along with varying types of artwork (drawing, illustration, pen and ink, paint, etc.), I enjoy writing, singing and dancing sillily, and making life fun.

A Sunny Place To Think

Come away with me now, to enchantment beyond. Let us dance in the memories of days past, thrive for those yet to come, and relish in the present day.

Life and Everything in-between!

I’ve started my blog so as to perhaps find a way to express myself. It will be full of my ramblings and daily journey through life as I try to figure things out. Join me as I discuss and explore, if you like. I try to write daily.

FACTS ABOUT SOLEIL PORCHE
What was the last book you read without skipping any pages?
“A Question of Magic” by E.D. Baker

What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?
Traveling to Europe. I’m afraid to fly over an ocean, well, maybe “afraid” is the wrong word. It’s more like I’m wary of the unknown and, as I’ve never flown over an entire ocean before to go somewhere, I don’t know what to expect…but, then, I can’t use that as an excuse, can I? Since I have flown before, I should know what to expect. I think I’m just defeating myself here. I should just go and do it. …Ah, but that requires money, which I don’t have…not to spend on flights to Europe, anyway. -sigh-

What age do you feel right now?
I still feel like a teenager. Actually, I really do have to stop and think sometimes when people ask me how old I am. I’m only 25! But when people constantly think you’re about 18 because you look young, well, it’s all a matter of perspective and “how old you feel”, right? I really do still feel (and act goofy) like a teenager/kid, haha! I’m definitely young and a kid at heart!
