Starting this month, I am challenging myself to become fluent in Spanish by December. One app that I’ve found to be very helpful is DuoLingo.

Before you begin, you take a test to give the app an idea for where you are at. You can also set a goal to practice for a certain amount of time daily, weekly, and so forth. The app will send a notification through your phone and email with a reminder to meet your goal.

The learning activities include listening and translating, listening and typing what you hear, reading and translating, word identification, and more!

It’s been great so far. Plus it’s free. If there were a section that allowed me to practice conversation skills, it would be perfect.

Pizza, Netflix, and Happiness. Mei.
